Scrub MD Antifungal Medicated Bar Soap's formula was developed by Dr. Matt Reedy, a board-certified dermatologist, to help his patients who struggle with fungal infections. As a college wrestler, he is well-versed in the skin infections that affect athletes. He sought to develop a formula that not only treats but also prevents skin infections.

Meet Dr.Reedy

Matt Reedy, MD, was born and raised in Ravenna, Ohio. In high school, he had a perfect 51-0 record as a senior in wrestling. This earned him a wrestling scholarship to Ohio University. He majored in medicinal chemistry with a minor in biology and wrestled on the varsity team for the Bobcats. He graduated from Ohio University magna cum laude. He then completed medical school, graduating with honors from Northeast Ohio Medical University. Dr. Reedy completed his internship year at Summa Akron City Hospital in internal medicine followed by a dermatology residency at Indiana University. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) where he enjoys mentoring medical students. He feels privileged to be practicing in Northeast Ohio near his family and friends. Dr. Reedy is well-trained in general, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
